There's nothing left to take away here - the composition and execution is thoughtful and sure-handed, the result focused and powerful. US / Swiss Black / Cosmic / Ambient Metal. This is a truly awsome album with some fantasticly intense playing & great haunting atmospheres. At almost 80 minutes it is a little daunting but well worth it! A true work of art & highly recommended!!!

Gaerea's first release of "Unsettling Whispers" was in 2018, and since, they dared define a "black metal" niche of their own, they dared to walk a new path and stir shit up a bit in the realm of BM, this album is a masterpiece and a milestone proving that it can be done, provided the band can pull it off, and they did, oh they did! Gloomy, dark, post-BM sludgy whatever, it's Gaerea, and this one belongs in my BC collection, the end.

This is an album that can transport you to another realm. A nice hard liqueur or a bottle of Red pairs extremely well to the soundscape. It takes you on a voyage, a voyage completely unique. Great and heavy/pushing drums. Expressive riffs. Superb black.
